Our Candela Gentlase Laser uses the most advanced cooling system to cool the surface of the skin, thus allowing the use of higher energies to penetrate deeper into the skin for more impressive results.

The heat from the laser causes immediate tissue tightening and signals the body to start making new collagen. As the new collagen forms, skin will be tighter and firmer.

There is absolutely no down time associated with this procedure! A few people may have mild redness but this usually resolves in a few hours. You can return to your normal activities immediately, although as always sunscreen should be used. You can apply makeup after the procedure to  hide redness, if necessary.

We do a treatment every two weeks for a total of six treatments. Each time more and more of your ‘aged’ and ‘ragged’ collagen is broken down which stimulates your body to create fresh new collagen.  There are some immediate results after each treatment, however most of the results will accumulate over the six months following the last treatment.

Typically patients enjoy results of skin tightening on face, neck and décolletage. We also treat eyebrows, tighten jowls and neck and reduce wrinkles around the eyes.
